that picture made my day...
if you wanna use mind blast at least put its godly energy gain to use...
Energy Storage: 9 (8+1)
Fire Magic: 16 (12+4)
Water Magic: 3 (2+1)
Wilderness Survival: 10
- Mind Blast [Elite] (Fire Magic)
- Fireball (Fire Magic) or Flame Djinn's Haste (Fire Magic)
- Rodgort's Invocation (Fire Magic)
- Glyph of Concentration (Elementalist other)
- Glyph of Lesser Energy (Elementalist other) or Flame Djinn's Haste (Fire Magic)... or w.e
- Deep Freeze (Water Magic)
- Serpent's Quickness (Wilderness Survival)
- Quickening Zephyr (Wilderness Survival)
or just have an oath using QZ... more pressure for energy on opponents...

All skills are equal. Some skills are more equal than others.
"hyprodimus, you forgot his groundbreaking essay on focus swapping a year and a half ago."
Yes, I remember that. Because of you Ensign I redid my inventory. I was carrying 5 staffs. one of each element and one prot all with 20% +5 energy. Now I carry 1 (ether staff). If im farming i dont need to be attacking with staff. And for PvP a 60 health staff. I still dont use energy minus though. (as an ele).

I'm kinda pissy about the subject of Energy Storage equipment ever since the weakness change. I'm willing to just suffer through it on PvE with a 9 ES build to save space, but it's unacceptable for PvP. I'm glad we have super PvP characters or I would need to be buying a lot of new focii. =/
I've actually consolidated my PvE weapons to just one bag now, though, and muled everything else away - pretty awesome, I think, when I look back at how much junk I used to have to carry around.
Peace,
-CxE

don't use aura of restoration? that's pretty good.
lets others boast about the builds you post? that's not a bad idea.
i do like how 'best build ever' got toned down to 'ra for kicks'.

A Character in specific to deal with invincable E/D's....we already have one of those, it's called a mesmer, specifically one with Shatterstorm and a few (2) interupts to interupt stoneflesh arua (and it's Ridonkulous 2 second cast time which a hammer warrior could hit with Skull Crack while reading a book) and another vital enchant that the E/D scrambles to put back on with it's 1-2 dsecond cast time (excluding Mystic Regeneration).

why post on the forums then get all defensive when people better than you tell you your build is bad?
Sure, we can say he's learning, but all he's really learning is what builds suck. I can save him a few hours of his time telling him his bar is bad.

obviously I was kidding around with all the godly talk, if you don't like the build don't use it simple as that you don't gotta be a prick about it.

On the internet its hard to tell when people are being sarcastic, being arrogant or being honest. Please watch what you post if you dont want to be looked upon as a noob who posted a bad build, then realised it was bad, that you made a mistake and now arent strong enough to admit it so now say you were being sarcastic.
We post here not because we think we are better and we want to put others down. We post because we think we are better and can pull others up. Its not like more experienced players have to come back and help the noobs out.
And I dont say "noob" in a derogatory sense, just meaning a new person to the game and its mechanics and meta.

A person can see a bad build, and say "Wow, that is a bad build."
Or they can say "well, if it works for you, then I guess it is fine."
The difference is, if someone looks up these forums, on one hand, they'll see a forum where a bunch of care-bears support really bad builds, and on the other hand they'll see forums where people just aren't supporting really bad builds.
Really when you think about it, there isn't much use in a forum to just be a bunch of happy carebears supporting bad builds. If you want praise for a really crappy build, head over to guildwiki, they're all about that stuff there.

what the hell was that lol.. your taking this way too far. I was being sarcastic saying it's the best build ever made, but I still think it's solid. I enjoy playing the build and will continue to do so. This is getting rediculous though questioning my strength in life when I post a build on the internet.
I knew it wouldn't be favoured cause it's high defense, and everyone wants people to do what's been done already. Noone complains about the shock warrior yet he's much easier to shut down. No build is perfect but I enjoy the one's I've made and I often make builds that stray from the norm. So sue me, I'm enjoying it.

Well his insult was funny atleast lol. Your just putting me down. Anyways I didn't think this thread would turn into this, but I should have known I guess.
Let's just agree that the build was a classic, possibly the most noble build of it's time. I say things like that you guys think I'm serious? I gotta work on my english.

We are putting you down because you obviosly cant be convinced any other way. Thats the thing I dont like about arrogance...you simply cant hurt, teach, converse to or convince the people with it anything. The only thing you can do is feel sad for them.

Well we've got a lot of that here too. In the farming forum there are people praising new AND old troll builds. Saying they cant wait to try it out. But I guess those are the newer people. I myself am guilty of such things when I "try" to post builds in professions im still new at. But this is different...95% of my guild wars life is Ele.
